All in all, my favorite primer for eyes is definitely the Stila Primer Pot in Caramel! Please rush and go purchase it if you have EXTREMELY oily eye lids like myself!

  1. I'm loving this post!!! I wanted to try Too Faced Shadow Insurance (just because) and now I know to stay away! It doesn't remotely intensify the pigmentation of the eyeshadow (according to your swatch)! I know that that's not what it was formulated to do but it would've been a definite plus!

As for UDPP, it's an on and off relationship that we have! Sometimes I love it, sometimes I hate it... I wouldn't say that my eyelids are particularly oily (compared to the rest of my face) so I do find that it makes my eyeshadow last longer... However, my problem with it is
    a) the stupid packaging (I noticed that they changed it last time I was at Sephora) and
    b) the fact that it's overpriced... The 1$ e.l.f. one is the EXACT same thing but costs 22 times less (literally)!

The NYX eyeshadow base in Milk is really convenient in a jar... It makes eyeshadows a million times more intense which is aaamazing!

May I suggest you try the L.A. Splash eyeshadow base/sealer... It dries really quickly to a very matte finish... It's a little strange to work with because it is extremely liquid... But as I said, it dries really matte really quick. I've been using it for about a month and I really like it. However, I always use it in conjunction with the NYX eyeshadow base so I don't know whether or not it intensifies pigmentation as well...

Anyway, great review!!! And thank you for keeping it real exposing some SERIOUSLY overhyped products!!!

  2. Thanks for the feedback :)

Oh please DO NOT try the too faced one. It's horrible. It really is a dupe to UDPP! If you go on YT, you'll even see that ppl compare and contrast them in videos. They're both horrid!

The camera makes it seem that UDPP and 2faced are better that the MAC and L'oreal, but trust me, they really aren't!

I should def check out the Milk in a jar. Again, should have purchased it at IMATS! Big regret. I"m thinking of buying it but applying it over my primer. I'm sure it'll make a huge difference in pigmentation.

LA Splash - I have yet to find this product, but will be sure to go looking for it lol!

    Thanks!
